Minutes:
Gary Hughes introduced the LGA Peer Challenge Annual Report 2018/19, outlining the many successes, including the number of councils engaging in corporate/financial peer challenges over the year, and highly positive feedback from participant councils.
Gary explained plans to continue to improve peer challenges and to maintain their quality and positive momentum. In the coming year, his team intend to focus on ensuring there is a large pool of credible and experienced peers.
Following this, a confidential discussion took place between officers and members.
