Members noted the Update and asked that officers explore the potential for ensuring that the City Regions debate remains at the top of the political agenda.

ACTION:  Officers to prepare proposals for future work.

Members noted that the focus of the January Meeting would be work carried out on skills, employment and welfare reform.
