Minutes:
Daniel Shamplin-Hall, Adviser, introduced the item, advising members that, in line with Board’s agreed work programme, officers had commissioned Value Adage to carry out research into strengthened sub-national trade and investment policy. He introduced Heather Carey and Adam Swash from Value Adage to update members on the work so far.
A discussion followed.

1. The board noted the report.
Actions:
1. Value Adage to take account of members’ views in the case study interviews.
2. Officers to explore undertaking further work on trade and investment following the drafting of Value Adage’s agreed initial output.
