Cllr Laura Mayes

Laura has been a Wiltshire Councillor since 2009, and Cabinet Member for Children's Services for seven years.  The Council's Children's Services Department was judged as Good by Ofsted in 2019.  Laura has Chaired the South West Leaders Group and has mentored Lead Members in Gloucestershire, Swindon and Suffolk.   She has also trained new Lead Members as part of the LGA's Leadership Essentials Course and has been on the Children and Young People's Board for 6 years.
