Elected in May 2017, Neil is Cabinet Member for Transformation at Pembrokeshire County Council. To date he has remodelled the Council’s transformation programme, secured an investment of £1 million into technology innovation and acted as lead on the Council's first ever 'Programme for Administration' setting out the political aspirations for a coalition cabinet.
Neil’s professional career has seen him working for blue chip technology organisations as well as consulting with niche businesses working within the public sector.
Neil is also the Welsh Local Government Association's deputy spokesperson for digital and innovation, holds Non-Executive Director roles with Pobl Group and Data Cymru, is an LGA member peer, a community councillor and a school governor. He is proud to be a public servant.
