Additional Information

“First elected at the 2015 Local Elections, I am proud to be an active Councillor for the Hebburn North Ward. Having lived in the town all of my life, it is a privilege to represent such a fantastic community. In May 2021, I was appointed to South Tyneside Council’s Cabinet, taking on the position of Lead Member for Children, Young People and Families, fulfilling the statutory duties set out in law relating to Children’s Services.

As a local Councillor and activist within the community, I am currently Honorary President of the Friends of Hebburn Cemetery; Vice-Chair of Trustees, Hebburn Sea Cadets; Chair of Governors’, St Oswald’s CE VA Primary School; Vice Chair of Governors’, Epinay Business and Enterprise School; and Co-opted Governor, Hebburn Comprehensive School. Being an active member of my local community is critical to all that I do.”
