Cllr Jeremy Hilton

Jeremy Hilton is a Liberal Democrat councillor based in the city of Gloucester. He is the leader of the Liberal Democrat group on Gloucester City Council. A former Gloucestershire cabinet member for the fire service between 2001 and 2005, Jeremy is a past Chair of the LGA Fire Services Management Committee.

He previously represented the LGA on the DCLG Strategic Resilience Board and was one of the employers members on the National Joint Council (NJC) for Local Authority Fire and Rescue Services.

Jeremy has been a parliamentary candidate on five occasions and has served as a Councillor for a total of 29 years. He has also served as a director of the Gloucester Heritage Urban Regeneration Company and was the chair of the board of Gloucestershire Airport Ltd.
