The Chair invited Jon Sutcliffe, Senior Adviser, to introduce the item. 

Jon updated members that the report sets out the key workforce policy developments that have taken place since the last board meeting.  The paper sets out updates on each pay negotiations for:

·         Local Government Services;

·         Firefighters;

·         Schoolteachers;

·         Soulbury;

·         Youth and community workers;

·         Chief Executives and Chief Officers;

·         Reform of public service exit payments; and

·         Apprenticeships. 

A confidential discussion then took place between the members of the Resources Board and LGA Officers.
