The Chairman welcomed Donna Jones to the meeting and Donna gave an introduction on her work as the National Lead for Victims and Serious Organised Crime for the Association for Police and Crime Commissioners. In particular she highlighted the work of the police and National Crime Agency in tackling serious and organised crime in local communities and raising the point that Councils might help in raising the profile of that work and encouraging people to come forward and help identify offenders.
