Minutes:
Claire Hogan, Senior Adviser, updated members on the expected findings of the RSA Inclusive Growth Report and the next steps once the report had been published. It was agreed that the report would be considered in more detail at the next board meeting.
· There was concern that the report’s introduction focused heavily on Brexit and the election of Trump, was negative in tone and missed other opportunities for discussion. However, members agreed that both events were significant for the UK and needed to be recognised and considered within the report.
