The London Marathon Charitable Trust primarily provides capital funding for building or facilities projects that inspire increased participation in physical activity, sport and play. It prioritises projects that target individuals or groups that currently have low levels of activity and children and young people outside of school hours. Since its founding in 1981, The Trust has awarded in excess of £66.5 million to more than 1,200 projects in London and beyond.
