Mr Roger Hirst

Roger Hirst is Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for Essex.  Roger was the first PCC to take on joint governance of fire and rescue services in his area making him the country’s first PFCC. Previously he was a Cabinet Member for Essex County Council, and Deputy Leader of Brentwood Borough Council, until he stood down to focus on the role of PCC.  He has over thirty years experience as a leading financial analyst in the City, having run the European investment research divisions of major UK, European and US international banks.

Roger Hirst is a member of the APCC Board and the APCC Lead on Funding Formula, CSR and Grants.
