He was first elected to represent the Whitestone Ward on Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council in May 2010, and served as Deputy Leader of the Opposition between 2011-2014 and Leader of the Opposition between 2014-2021. Since May 2021 he is proud to serve as the Leader of the Council and holder of the Business and Regeneration Cabinet position.
Kris’s particular emphasis is on the regeneration of both Nuneaton and Bedworth towns and is keen to bring forward both public and private sector involvement in the Transforming Nuneaton and Bedworth initiatives.
