Cllr Andrew Walters

Cllr Andrew Walters is a qualified accountant, and a dual-qualified US/UK tax advisor, and practices as an international tax consultant to multinational corporates and high-net-worth individuals around the world. He has lived and worked in London, New York, the Middle-East, Scotland, and for the past 15 years, in Greater Manchester. He was first elected as a Councillor on Salford City Council in 2021, and was re-elected as an Independent Councillor in 2022. He sits on both Planning and Licencing Committees, is a member of the Community and Neighbourhood scrutiny committee, and represents Salford Council on the Greater Manchester Pension Fund Advisory and Management Panel.
