Cllr Caroline Jackson

Caroline Jackson, Green Party leader of the Shared Adminstration running Lancaster city council. She spent 35 years as a secondary school teacher, ending her career as a headteacher. A councillor since 2013, and Scrutiny Champion for 5 years, she held the Housing portfolio for two years over the lockdown period.  Caroline,  co-founded the Claver Hill growing project in Lancaster. She helps run a weekly Food group, is trustee of the Morecambe Bay Food Bank, the Credit Union, MORE Renewables and Global Link DEC which leads on ASR support.
